We are I Want Fabric , a specialist retailer of Quality Textiles - Honestly Priced.
We offer a free sample service to help you select the right fabric. Just email us your name and address and the fabrics you are interested in. Please allow up to 7 days for samples to arrive. (although most go out same day 1st class)
We keep a keen eye on prices and are very competitively priced.
We have a great team of 10 people running the business.

Returns Policy Terms and Conditions
1.1. Returns will be accepted within 14 days of postmark. 1.2. Items must be in an ‘as new condition’. 1.3. Where there is no fault with the item/s returned, the customer is responsible for return postage costs. 2.1. Returns should be notified to I Want Fabric Customer Services by email to email@example.com. 3.1. Where a return is required as a result of an error, fault, or otherwise on the part of I Want Fabric, postage costs may be recovered by the customer. 3.2. Return postage refunds must be authorised by I Want Fabric prior to return. 3.3. Where return postage refunds have not been authorised, the customer may not rely on a return postage refund. 4.1. I Want Fabric may require that a return be made by courier. 4.2. Where 4.1 applies, I Want Fabric will arrange the courier service. 5.1. Where returns are not sent by tracked / signed for delivery, I Want Fabric cannot be responsible for any items lost in transit. 6.1. Return postage costs refunds shall be capped at £5.00 unless otherwise stated prior to return. 7.1. Where item/s are collected in person by the customer or by their agents, the above provisions shall not apply.
General Terms and Conditions
I Want Fabric is the Trading name of QuickSell Store Ltd
1.1. I Want Fabric accept all major credit/debit cards. To make a credit/debit card payment, please contact Customer Services on 0161 925 0333 (Mon – Sat 09:30 – 17:30).
1.2. Payments may also be made by cheque, payable to Quicksell Store Ltd, addressed to I Want Fabric, Unit 5, Bute Street, Salford, Manchester, M50 1DU. (please allow up-to 7 working days for payment to clear.
2.1. I Want Fabric aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days of cleared payment.
2.2. I Want Fabric endeavour to ensure that all orders are received promptly and will work to resolve any delays in receipt of an item/s.
2.3. I Want Fabric cannot be held responsible for delays which were caused by third party carriers or other situations out of their control.
2.4.1. Due to Post guidelines and I Want Fabric’s commitment to keeping postage costs down, fabrics of less than 11 metres may be dispatched folded, unless a roll is requested.
2.4.2. Where item/s are requested on a roll, a courier fee (for standard domestic deliveries) will be applied. Special and international costs may vary.
3.1. Most photographs of items are taken in-house and are not obtained from any third parties. Online images are therefore a good representation of the colour/style/texture/quality of the item.
3.2 I Want Fabric cannot guarantee exact shade matches, as fabrics may vary from roll-to-roll and images may vary from screen-to-screen.
4.1. The customer is responsible for checking orders before accepting delivery, to ensure that they are correct when they arrive. Do not accept damaged goods. 4.2. When a problem exists, please make I Want Fabric aware as soon as possible and we will work to correct this problem.
4.3. Please do not cut the fabric until checks have been made as no claim for returns/exchanges/refunds can be made once the fabric has been cut.
3.4. Issues must be communicated to I Want Fabric within 14 days of postmark. 4.5. No claims for returns/exchanges/refunds can be made after 30 days of postmark.
5.1. Sewing Machines and similar are classed as electricals. 5.2. Electricals cannot be returned unless faulty, once the box has been opened.
6.1. Where a parcel is returned to I Want Fabric, as a result of a fault by customer (i.e. non-collection after attempted delivery, incorrect address details provided or other) may be liable for re-delivery costs and/or charges which may be incurred by I Want Fabric for the item’s return.
7.1. Overseas customers are responsible for any taxes or otherwise, which may be incurred as a result of international delivery.
8.1. I Want Fabric endeavour to send continuous lengths, however, large rolls may be dispatched as split lengths.
9.1. Where items for sale are not described as being fire/flame retardant, the customer assumes all responsibility for arranging testing to ensure that their item/s are adequately fire/flame retardant.
9.2. Items advertised as flame/fire retardant have been purchased from a third party and I Want Fabric cannot be held liable in contract or in tort for any damage, loss, or otherwise, resulting from items which are found to be insufficiently fire/flame retardant or are not fire/flame retardant.
9.3. When available, I Want Fabric will provide copies of FR certificates or product specifications. Unless expressly detailed in writing to you, I Want Fabric will not offer any guarantee or warranty to any products suitability or fire retardant grading. If in doubt please let us know your intended usage and we will do our best to source the right product for you.
9.4 I Want Fabric shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of sales, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill), costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with your purchase of goods from I Want Fabric or otherwise under these terms. Errors and omissions accepted.
9.5 Any materials not offered as pre-shrunk tend to shrink when laundered or cleaned and can also show movement in certain atmospheric conditions. A 5-6% shrinkage is considered normal for fabrics not claimed to be shrink resistant. Even after pre-shrinking a fabric may still shrink up to 3%.
